something new is taking root
Our first groups are taking shape, and we want the women who'll be in them to help build them. If this sounds like something you need, we'd love to hear from you.
When this season feels more lonely than you expected
Some things are easier to hold when you're in a room with people who actually get it.
Not people who mean well but say the wrong thing. Not friends who try to relate but can't. People who are in it with you, navigating the same hard territory, the same grief, the same exhaustion that doesn't have a simple explanation.
At Mother Nurture Therapy Group, our support groups are small, therapist-led, and grounded in the same trauma-informed, attachment-focused approach we bring to individual and couples therapy. These aren't drop-in peer groups. They're clinical containers: held with intention, structured for real depth, and small enough that every person in the room has space to be seen.
Find community and guidance, so the hardest chapters feel a little less heavy.
POSTPARTUM SUPPORT GROUP
For Mothers in the First Two Years
The postpartum season asks more of you than anyone warned you about. The sleeplessness, the identity shift, the way your relationship changes, the thoughts that surprise you. It's a lot to carry, and it's often carried in isolation.
This group is a space to set that down.
We'll work with what's actually happening: the anxiety that won't settle, the grief alongside the love, the moments of disconnection from yourself or your baby, the relationship strain that builds when both of you are depleted. You'll leave each session with something real, whether that's a tool, a shift in perspective, or simply the relief of having said it out loud to people who understand.
Who this is for: Mothers and birthing people up to two years postpartum experiencing anxiety, depression, identity disruption, intrusive thoughts, or the general weight of this transition.
fertility & loss SUPPORT GROUP
For Women Navigating Infertility & Pregnancy Loss
Fertility treatment and pregnancy loss ask you to keep going while carrying something most people around you can't fully see. The grief is real. The isolation is real. The way it affects your relationship, your body, your sense of yourself. All of it is real.
This group is for people who are tired of having to explain it.
We'll create space for the parts of this experience that don't fit neatly into conversation. The losses that don't have funerals, the grief that exists alongside hope, the ways this season changes you even when it doesn't end the way you wanted. You'll be in a room with people who don't need a definition, because they're living it too.
Who this is for: People navigating active infertility, fertility treatment, or pregnancy loss at any stage of the process.

FAQs
What's the difference between a support group and group therapy?
These aren't drop-in peer groups. They're clinical containers: held with intention, structured for real depth, and small enough that every person in the room has space to be seen.
How many people are in each group?
Groups are intentionally small, typically 6 to 8 members, so that everyone has space to be heard.
Are groups open or closed?
Groups run in monthly cycles. Each month is a closed cohort, so the same members attend every session for that month and can build real trust with one another. At the end of each cycle, members can choose to continue into the next month or step away, and new members can join. This gives the group the depth of a closed container while keeping it accessible for people whose lives and needs change.
How long does the group run and how often does it meet?
We're still finalizing details based on interest. Fill out the form to share your availability and preferences. Your input will help shape the schedule.
Is this covered by insurance?
We are a private-pay practice. Group therapy rates are typically lower than individual sessions. Details will be shared when groups launch.
I'm not sure if a group is right for me.
Individual therapy is always available, and a free consultation can help you figure out what kind of support makes the most sense for where you are right now.
